{Hidden Treasures} Fun day out at the Stratford Butterfly Farm on Mother’s Day
Posted on Jun 22nd 2012So in the next instalment of my Hidden Treasures series of posts (Original Post here), I would like to share with you a family day trip on Mother’s Day…
On Mother’s Day (yes I’m perfectly well aware that that was aaaaaaaages ago) we spent a lovely morning at the Stratford-upon-Avon Butterfly Farm.
I didn’t even know about the Butterfly farm until a friend posted something on his blog in the week before about their trip there. So when we got to thinking about where we wanted to go on the Sunday, I thought why not treat the kids (Mother’s Day is never just about the Mother, is it??) to a lovely day out to Stratford-upon-Avon.
We had a great time, and I loved spending some time photographing something else for a change. The butterflies certainly loved Adam’s jumper and I’ve never seen such a fat fish in my life before.
All in all a really good day and made so much better for the fact that the images are seeing the light of day and is not stuck on a computer hard drive forever!! 😉
Let me know what you think and if there is any other places we should visit. I’d love to hear from you in the comments below…
